SnoCo Train Watch Meeting-Nov 19 in Everett

November 14, 2014

You are invited to Snohomish County Train Watch monthly meeting to learn about the latest developments on the issues of coal, crude oil, and hazmat transports through our community and how citizens can get involved locally.

At the November 19th meeting, we will address the findings from the Department of Ecology’s draft report Marine and Rail Oil Transportation Study. The public is invited to learn about what the study means, what the next steps are, who is involved state-wide, and what the public can do in support of this study.

During the second half of the meeting, the group will participate in a strategy session focusing on future activities. Upcoming regional events will be announced to encourage participation in issues relating to coal, crude oil, and hazmat transports.

WHEN: Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 6:00 – 7:30pm
WHERE: Everett Public Library Auditorium, 2702 Hoyt Avenue

Please note that the meeting is in the Auditorium (downstairs) and that this month’s meeting was not scheduled on the usual 4th Tuesday of the month to avoid Thanksgiving week.  This event is not sponsored by the Everett Public Library.
